I made this for my daughter for Christmas and it turned out amazing. I have made several of your drawstring bags in other versions and I love them all, but I have to say it has a LOT to do with your excellent tutorials. I search endless tutorials on you tube and I find yours to be the absolute best for me. They are thorough yet you don't drag things out so long that I lose interest. You move right along without missing any crucial steps that a total beginner would need to make a project. Thank you SO much. My projects have brought me so much joy !

Can I just say that I have used this tutorial for reference at least 50 times since I left my last review. Everything from how to most efficiently box the corners( using the angled lines on ruler) to the absolute most secure way to make the opening for a drawstring, this time for a simple Christmas gift bag. making mine with leather bottom and canvas at the top with a liner... have the exterior finished... looking nice... had to come back and see how to do the interior lol will use leather for handles and add a snap in the middle oh... and... i also embroidered a lil sumsin on the front and back sooo much fun once again, tyfs :)

I'm not sure if there is a formula, but you can pin the corners in place to test it until you get it to the size you prefer, then sew it.
