I own a 523 too, but even in the videos I made, engine wasn't so loud. It's sad that it's just an effect, 'cause I want mine to make more noise without changing its look. Nevermind, in a few years I'll buy an M5 and sound problem will be fixed.

The engine isn't loud. Sound recording in the camera is very sensitive. In the car, everything is stock and very good condition. you must turn down your speakers ;)
