I am grateful that you guys are very real and honest concerning this recipe! It happens to everyone. I just happen to have an enchilada casserole in the oven right now for dinner tonight. I made it with pinto and black beans and layers of white corn tortillas it also calls for a can of enchilada sauce. I also added a diced up zucchini and sliced black olives and cheese. Plus spices, onion, garlic powders, cumin. Love you two and Marie you are gorgeous every time I see you here. May our Heavenly Father bless you! Thank you, Loves.

I was just thinking the same thing. Serve the beans on the side. I would leave out the corn as well, and probably add more of the enchilada sauce. I wouldn't mind the soft chips since traditional enchiladas use soft corn tortillas to start with.

So funny, I thought that I could mimic this recipe. Suddenly the video stopped after Marie tasted the new recipe. First, I thought my phone glitched ( it is 8 years old). I wear wigs occasionally - just because it is easier to put on then fix my hair. Some people naturally look good in wigs & u are one of them- it looks so natural. Hi Miss Marie and Calvin!! I watched you make this recipe and i wasnt sure you would like it!! The texture was dry and that was from the tortilla chips. I have my own version i make and we call it "Mexican Lasagna". Its essentially enchiladas but not rolled up i use the corn tortillas layered like lasagna noodles. Comes out nice every time. We like it juicy or saucy!. Best-- Carole ❤️

Marie looked so pretty in her wig. It happens with cooking not all recipes are winners. I don't want soggy chips either. Im thinking you could bake the mixture without the chips mixed in & serve as a hot dip with the chips or line a baking sheet with the chips & spread the mixture on top & bake for Nachos. I think that sounds good also.
