In today's English lesson, you are going to be learning English in the world's largest urban rainforest. And maybe the first term we should talk about is urban. Urban means like the city. The difference is rural. Rural means out in the country, like kind of where we are right now, or at least it looks like that. But we are still in the city of Rio. This is the world's largest urban rainforest, which means we are still technically inside a city. It's about 13 square miles wide, and we took an Uber to get here. I'll show you a little of that footage in just a minute so you can see what urban looks like. Before we talk too much about the rainforest here, let me take you back to Rio as we were leaving this morning. It was definitely rush hour.

Great job Brent! Tijuca Rainforest is amazing and there's a restaurant at the end of one of those trails. You could have found water there. If you were with locals you would have been safer. Anyways, it was a nice adventure! I'm wondering if you took an Uber to go to the Botanical garden. Thanks for your great work!

We never made it to the botanical gardens. We only drove past. That VIP in downtown Rio was kind of crazy. I wonder if that was a soccer team or something.

O engraçado de estar no Brasil sendo estrangeiro é que quando você conversa as pessoas ao seu redor ficam olhando 😂😂 Acontece a mesma coisa quando é um brasileiro em outro país.

Brent there is a long time i follow your videoes . I notice each time you are alone in the country side a little far from the civilisation , you look worried, suspicious, not sure about yourself. I find this very funny. You are not an adventurer , ready to face the unknown moment or unknown area. You look weak not too brave Thank you for your work A wink from France
