Thanks Professor for this important lecture. Actually, a language cannot be learnt without practicing it. It's just like trying to learn swimming without jumping into the water. We cannot speak without speaking. Watching learning videos alone doesn't improve speaking. Reading lots of books alone doesn't improve speaking. So, in order to speak better, one must practice speaking. If we don't make mistakes at the beginning we'll never be able to learn. It's through the mistakes that we're able to learn something new. So, one must not be afraid to make mistakes as it's natural to make mistakes when learning a language. Learning is a certain process that takes time. One must work hard to achieve success. Mam i can understand anything but I can't speak fluently with public or infront of the others.... In my point of view, your English Is good and all you need is practice.... otherwise fluency will increase gradually and you'll learn new words by somehow... You said your kids and house chores keeping you busy, isn't it! Then you can try to speak english with your children, and you can think and speak in english with yourself while working... Just try to occupy your environment with English.. always try to practice...just speak with your kids, they'll also pick and adopt themselves in this amazing journey with you❤
