This is so helpful man, thanks a ton. I am new to TI, and are still learning everything from the ground up. These video's are very helpful since I just got to about 10B dps, I am sort of on the edge of being able to grind Profound, but only just. I will try this strat tonight. Thunder wastes beacon T8 is like 0.12 FE. Starshard sells for 0.5. And there are 2 tight linear layouts in Wall and Grove.

this is actually crazy to see. I've been doing almost exactly this already and have been making insane gains. I've loved nightmare since its release and farm it almost every league. To see Don himself sharing this strat with the world now, is pretty pog. Makes me feel good about my own knowledge that ive brought from PoE to Torchlight and with how i farm myself.

Clickbait is when a video's thumbnail or title implies that the contents of the video is something while the actual contents fail to deliver. Making a video about how I literally, on stream, farmed to earn my mirror tier staff and then sharing with you the exact strategy is the exact opposite of clickbait. Will this strategy work in all tiers? yes. will you earn 600 FE/hr in 7-0? no. Did I ever say you would? no. will you make FE following this strat? yes. Infact I've had people in my chat saying they were making more than me in 8-0s than deepspace because they weren't buying beacons and going even faster than me.

Some people used to be TM7 andies supplying the 8 people with items they needed like beacons and pedigrees and the like till they were able to move up. Even after the buffs to TM7 that same type of progression is alot worse, as things hardly drop, let alone getting the FE you need together to prepare for i86 gear to get the T1 mods. On top of the massive damage nerfs and the moving around of affixes and Rework of hero memories completely bricked some heroes like Moto. XD should be ashamed of themselves with this half assed League

If the beacons are so much more valuable than the star shards wouldn't it make more sense to maximize investment in beacon returns? So spending a ton of nodes on beacon instead of god of war followers would most likely result in more map returns? God of war usually drops 0 for me ( enjoy this moment followed by 0 drops ) I would invest more in beacon drop and star shard and less in gow monsters/stages

A little too late for this. The massive changes they did with progression ticked off alot of people. You dont even see Andre in the TLI discord as much anymore because people are showing their discontent with how they did the progression, especially the one from TM 7 to 8. Overall its more expensive on average to even get the same affixes and stats on these gears. And dont get me started on the priceless base prices before you even get to slap an affix on there. Next season will be make or break for XD, lets see if they can step up again.

honestly, like what don said above, After some time spent, it really didnt take all that long to get drops and get into t8. games good. seasons good. it felt rough at the start but honestly, just gives us more time to play the game and not just be face rolling shit in 3 days

@Keifer-- no one is asking to face roll shit. I play Poe as well as this game and they actually made the progression worse than transitioning from yellow to red maps. For Devs who play and emulate PoE, they sure got the progression wrong

@@Keifer-- can literally pickup a good base off the ground in PoE and actually spend less getting good affixes than this game. Not to mention the travesty that they did to Flame Sand. Just made it straight up useless the moment you leave T7 and it still drops in abundance in T8 like you're gonna be using that shit
