In this video I go over the simple fast process to achieve a rusty/weathered look for your model car. Now this is not the only way and other techniques can be added to this . Just short process for someone looking to get their feet wet in the weathering world .

Nothing wrong with using rustoleum paints. I've been using them for years. Thanks for sharing this and you've been subbed.

Thank you. I’ll try online. We used to have some Army Surplus stores in Pa. but I haven’t seen one in years. I would have never tried weathering but your video changed my mind. 👍🏻

Normally this works great on an acrylic top coat. Never seen it done over enamel. Nice job!

I have done both, of course acrylic is more forgiving but enamel I have learned to speed up the process a bit before paint has time to fully gas .

Actually the hairspray is water soluable so you can rub off the acrylic and expose the underlying color..................
