I was struggling with ideas on how to make fences for industrial terrain for rpg games like Werewolf apocalypse, Cyberpunk, Scion what ever, and I found this video. Is a lifesaver! Easy, cute and lightweight. Just what I needed! Can't wait to get to work, thanks!

Very fun and easy fence, it has a very futuristic feel. Painting the skewers red or something could imitate laser beams of sort!

In my head I saw them as like an electric fence. Would be interetsing to see red. Thank you kindly :)

The fences and gate look really good! The gate being able to swing open was a very neat idea. You have a beautiful baby and she reminds me of when our boys were that age. Thanks for sharing this.

It looks good Jay. It's also pretty "system neutral" and would fit in with a lot of different games.

Indeed, I am tending to put 40k in thte title etc simply as that is super popular obviously, but yeah, it's sort of any modern / sci fi game would do. The lack of metal wire mesh is really its unique selling point.

A small square or triangle shaped pillar could solve the corner problem for the fenses with the flared bases
@TerrainMadeEasy4 жыл бұрын
I did think about something like that. There's a few possibilities, but honestly, the craft stick corner just works nicely.

I like your educational tutorial. I am thinking making the up part like an energy field.

I play a game that is my own world but with marvel game charts & rules. It takes place very far in the future in a world that has had several wars & earth is the melting pot of alien races, mutants, cyborgs, Altered & enhanced humans. A world where plain humans are the minority.

Looks good, but wow does that drive me crazy that you glued the template down smack dab in the middle of your piece of cardstock. Then proceed to cut chunks off from it, being very wasteful in your utilization of your resource.
@TerrainMadeEasy4 жыл бұрын
Hehe sorry! However there is a reason for it. I was actually using the narrow side of a cearl box (to not waste the large section on something like this). And when I cut it, I didn't make the cuts straight, therefore it didn't really matter where I glued it. I could have saved the rest for a project at some point but meh, when I did it I wasn't even sure I was going to do this version for the video!
