Hi. Forgive me for a moment. What I have learned about the Limited mindset and approach from Kenji is easily "lots" but has too many intangibles to easily quantify more precisely. He is also my go-to when I need a truly organic sense of which cards are misvalued. BUT... but... the subjective joy I get from watching him play is more than numbers and more than technical. If you've ever watched an athlete play well and feel the reward of all that work, you know.

I played a deck with sentinel that was green/red artifacts. Two dowsing devices with the sentinel was disgusting.

I've tried to get cleaver up and running in a couple drafts. What happens to me 75% of the time is that the equipment never puts a +1/+1 counter on a creature, either due to me never having the mana free to equip it, or due to the opponent removing whatever creature I do equip.

It is, but the sentinels don't need anything else to be good. I frequently say, you don't play bad cards to make good cards better

Soul cleaver is better with flyers and cheap cards so you can equip and still play something

I dont understand why some people hate this format. The variety of decks - green/black descend, blue/black descend, white/blue artifact, blue/red artifact/pirates, blue/green explore, red/white aggro, red/green dinos. Craft, explore, descend - this set is worlds above what Wilds was and i love playing and drafting this.

I think it was because that got to descend 4 for the Capybara, enabling it to attack and trade up. And then as you said, he could just get the Thunderhulk back whenever he wanted to later.

It does have an i at the end instead of an l, although it's pretty hard to tell the difference in print. Coati = a mammal in South and Central America, Coatl = a word for "serpent" in Nahuatl (a south/central American language)
