Easy Fishing: Surprise Catch: Lobster: Fishnthings: 🎣

In this video I am fishing alongside a good friend of mine again, Phil of Another Angle UK, check out his channel to see his fishing session.
We are fishing from Collieston harbour in Aberdeenshire on the north east coast of Scotland and a great session it was, we were trying different rods, rigs and even creels to see what species we could catch.

Another nice video lads. Beautiful place and watching the video make us look forward to a visit again with the sib once it warms up a bit. We just tried out fishing a couple of times last year off the sib, with my son, but a couple of questions for you! Is there somewhere online we can find out accepted keep sizes off the North east coast? Also while just south of Stonehaven a rib (not RNLI although at the time we thought it was) came over a questioned what we was doing when we were catching mackeral? Would that have been fisheries of some sort? Is there restrictions what can be caught in certain areas close to shore? Should have asked more from them at the time but were concentrating too much on the boat avoiding creel ropes and buoys that were everywhere, and we were very near the rocks as well. If too big a subject to discuss here, perhaps you or Phil be able to do another video on it?

@@bdr6199 Thanks for your comment bud, it could have been a fisheries rib, legal sizes can change so it’s best to check now and then but if you google legal fish sizes Scotland or whatever species you are targeting it should pop up, there is plenty info online, it will soon be summer again for you and yer son tae enjoy yer sib, be careful oot there ma freen, tight lines tae yea 🎣🐟🐟🐟

I think maybe your bait bag on the creel is too close to the side of the creel and the crabs are managing to get a feed from it from the side without having to go inside, I noticed that on your video with the camera inside it.

@@islay_angler8535 Fit lyke, the bait bag was moved to the side a wee bittie when I had the camera in for a clear view on the last video but I moved the bait bag to the middle before shooting the creel on this occasion as not using camera, It would be better to leave it all night but, we were just having a wee bit o fun with the creels, well spotted in the last video, I notticed that aswell 👍 Thanks for yer comment ma freen 👍🎣🐟🐟🐟
