Is your knee in the same line with your flare left foot?

Hey Michael love the videos I used to watch you on direct TV on the golf channel in the usa many years ago . Now to this video you say flaring the foot creates more power and more speed which equals more distance yet Mark Crossfield has shown ( on force plate with data to back him up ) that flaring the foot out vs keeping them square actually looses power and distance because of the lack of vertical force and the torque you can create while still being able to create horizontal force , so my question is have you been on forceplate and what do you think of his findings.... Others such as Dr Scott Lynette and Milo lines did a similar test with Brandon from Be Better golf and the results were pretty much the same as Crossfields....

If you watch the pros closely some of them actually flare their back foot just a touch to get deeper in the back swing

I saw the same crossfield video, it was interesting. But he also said his accuracy went down w square feet & hard rotation. Think flared foot is prob the way to go unless you’re 5 or less handicap as it encourages easier, maybe not faster, rotation & increased accuracy. Clearing front hip is problem for prob 95% golfers out there, flared front foot promoted that. Until the day I get down to a 5 I’ll stick w flared feet. Great video thanks

The Majority of pros open the left foot. Go watch some video. Crossfield is a dog shit instructor, he is not well respected, and quite frankly He’s just dumb. DJ has huge flare, tony F, literally all of them. Do yourself a favor and open it up

I’d almost say for people that slice to stop flaring the foot. To each is own but I had a tendency to spin out, over rotate. I stopped flaring the foot out stopped slicing because I stopped over rotating

Great video. But is the flare really 45 degrees? Seems far more than what I typically see tour players, etc. doing.

Does this make anybody else’s left knere feel weak after ?

Actually, flaring the lead foot seems to put less pressure on the lead knee. At least that's the way I feel.

Michael please repeat the episode where you do not recommend buying wedges included in the set of new clubs.
