Thanks for showing me I had no reason to be intimidated about trying re-amping. Looks like I will be recording DI all the time going forward. GREAT video!

Excellent, thank you - looking forward to giving this a go. What do I need to do with record/replay levels to ensure that the DI signal being sent back to the AxeFx for reamping is at the right level?

Wish I could get one of those G66 humbuster cables for my recording rig in the States! 🇺🇸

can you split 1 stereo fractal patch and then 1 mono bone dry for reamping...... THEN clone 10 of those and send 1 DI at a time to various amps/cabs/mics ? Also axe fx 2? and send it ? and how to set it up WITHOUT using the axe to disable our 50k protools rig......????

Would love to see a video on the FM3 since you said it has to be handled differently. Great video btw!

Thanks for making this video! I’ll be giving it a try in Studio One asap. Last weeks Fractal Friday video, leading up to this was very helpful too. I’m guessing you’re not at NAMM this year? Personally I’m waiting till they get back to the old schedule. Meeting you, and picking your brain on Fractal ( Mission booth?) was always a NAMM highlight for me.

Hi Cooper, learning a lot from your vids. In this case that I'm using Fm9+Logic Pro, when recording the new re amped track I hear a noise signal (beeeeep). Please tell me if possible which should be the state of I/Os of both tracks at the time of recording the reamped track? thank you a lot.

If you could set the ins and outs independently of the presets, you could change the input to USB or whatever, and flick through presets without having to change the input source every time. I never understood the reasoning behind the ins and outs being included as components on the grid. I suppose some people might have different in and out requirements on a per preset basis. But even so, you could have a settable global in and out used by every factory preset while still having the option to set a specific one for presets that require a different setting.

! I have the standard AXE FX3, how can I do to turn it TURBO...? what are the steps to turn it TURBO ?

Trying to do this in Logic using an Aggregate, so I can use my Audient interface as the interface, but not able to figure it out. Any suggestions?

I want to use this technique so I can use my FM9's effects on vocals.

Did you overwrite an existing guitar track when reamping or create an entirely new guitar track in this example? Thanks.

Hey Cooper I was wondering if the AxeFX is able to switch presets through a midi control while you’re playing live If so I love to see a video of that
@coopercarter2 жыл бұрын
It absolutely can. I'll do a video.

hello is it possible to record delay and reve effects on a separate track?
@simonsimon3252 ай бұрын
If you had your delay and reverb in parallel you could send them to output 2 and your main signal to output 1 then record the two to different tracks.
@constantinosmavroyannis94092 жыл бұрын
how do you do this (and generally use the axe fx audio interface) if you use asio drivers? asio afaik only allows for one device so i cant use my normal audio interface and my axe fx 3 at the same time. can i?
@coopercarter2 жыл бұрын
Correct. But the Axe-Fx ASIO driver can be used as your default driver, no problem. I run my entire studio off of the III via USB.
@danielpyrah85772 жыл бұрын
sadly tried but after adding usb block, and the send in reaper i still only hear DI

When I do this, I end up with a blend of DI and Wet signal. I can record to another track and only get the reamped signal, but it would be nice to be able to live audition tones without the DI. I'm sure I'm missing something obvious, but if anyone has any ideas, I would appreciate them.
@adamjones82188 ай бұрын
Turn off monitoring on your DI track. You're hearing both the live affected/reamped track and DI simultaneously because you're monitoring both tracks.
