Great! Have you found it fades at all? Does it look just as good as when you first installed it?
@askyalumumba35732 жыл бұрын
@@TheCarpentersDaughterUK It did not fade at all. I am planning on using it again this summer for other projects. I can't stress enough how much I love this material, I received many compliments from neighbors.

Thank you for mentioning that this scalloped edging isn't as bendy as the thinner ones. I have a very curvy lawn so from your video have decided that the thinner edging would be better. You have saved me wasting my money. 😁

Great upgrades for your garden. It's really taking shape. Hope that we get some good weather again in the near future, so you can get the sun loungers out 🙂👍

Apologies - I meant to say B&M, not Home Bargains in case I have you driving to the wrong shop 😂 This is the one I bought: www.bmstores.co.uk/products/flexi-scallop-curve-border-grey-371724 *ALSO, I correct myself. Multy Home state in their video "these products are not suitable for soil retention or containment. These are decorative edges for separation of garden aggregates and lawn. They are not suitable replacements for retaining wall building materials."

Sorry to hear about the woes, nice video though. almost tempted to pull up the block paving. almost. :)

This looks great! I'll have to go get some of this edging. I'm working my garden currently. I finally built a trommel and screening away all the rocks...So many rocks! I can't plant yet. Colorado is famous for attempting to get into spring, but winter holds on here.
@TheCarpentersDaughterUK2 жыл бұрын
Is a trommel also called a rotary soil compost sieve... or a garden riddle? When I Google it, it looks like a huge piece of machinery.
@Mikidy3032 жыл бұрын
@@TheCarpentersDaughterUK Mine is a rotary compost sieve, made with old bike wheels and some hardware cloth. I have some old wheels that it rotates on. I really should hook up a motor but it's not going to be used very frequently.

Thanks and me either until January this year! It seems alright for a decorative finish that won't get much traffic. The plastic types looked like they'd go brittle soon enough, which is why these appealed :)

Sorry... I always get Home Bargains & B&M mixed up. They always seem the same type of shop to me 😂 These were 12.99 each from B&M and loved how it's easy to work with 👌

Beautiful back yard you have there. Your hard work is paying off. Pleas be careful using that glass table as a saw bench. You don't want that to shatter.

That's brilliant, and what a great way to reuse old tires 👍 And that's a SHIT load of Laurel you have there, fair play. That's bloody gorgeous. Truly lovely and hardy evergreen 😄😊 Oh yeah, put the masking tape to guide the cutting, instead of cutting through it. 2:27 why didn't you just dig down there, instead of cutting the rubber border? 😅😆😝

The fun bit will be when the lawn mower can't reach the edge of the grass and the strimmer comes out and rips the edging to shreds.
