@@kristajojo2340 well, I get u. I'm just 16, and I usually see all these things and I'm like this thing must be so expensive. And I just did a girl's math, if told my mom she'd totally disagree due to the price. So I was like , let me just stick with my acne face." Well who cares", I'd say to myself. In Nigeria when u have uneven skin tone and acne prone skin nobody's gonna bully u or sth. Or nobody's gonna not want to be ur friend just cuz u've got pimples. So in my mind I'd be like," Lucedivino, when u get ur money ur gonna spoil urself more than these influencers do on social media. But then my dad became worried cuz he would always see different pimples on my face every day. And it came out in the weirdest places, btw my eyebrows, tip of my nose ,on my cupid bow like literally the corners of my mouth 👄, on my temples,then my forehead, chin and cheeks. It was that bad. Then I had to tell mom. I said to myself that if she wasn't gonna get it for me, I'd save that money and get it. Luckily, she agreed. We went to the market got my cleanser and moisturizer. I saw changes . I no longer had pimples for like about 2 weeks. Then I started noticing my skin was peeling of I thought it was like my dead skin cells. Funny 🤣 ain't it? I always saw things like dead skin cells on social media so I thought my cleanser was working.But I checked and found out my cleanser had salicylic acid 2% and I was using it mornings and nights. I took a break and Started using a bar soap. So now I basically interchange them to avoid dryness and all. So I've decided to take care of myself in the small ways I can. Id save money and get myself things like lip balm, lip liner, l lip gloss, vitamin c oil, jewelries. And so on. Spoiling myself with little snacks and all. So never wait before getting started
