Ciara Elizabeth I know, but it wasn't with irons. I couldn't really get it because the only way I know how to curl my hair is to braid it overnight or use a curling iron

Kayley, the video is amazing! I know you are using hair extensions from My Fantasy Hair from time to time and I wanted to ask how long are they? I have pretty similar hair length to yours and my height is 5'3 and I am debating between 20 and 22 inch. And also how many grams are yours? Thanks in advance and have a good day!

Yep! I have the 20 inches. I originally bought the 18 and realized they were the same length as my hair. Thankfully their return policy is awesome. These fall about 2 - 3 inches longer than my natural hair which I think is enough to look really natural while still enhancing my hair. I went nuts and got their colossal set, which is 300 grams, but I only ever wear 2 wefts from it 😬 (TBH I can't imagine wearing all that hair at once). Definitely not necessary to have all that extra weight. I'd personally lean toward the super deluxe which is 230 grams at 20". I like that because there is more hair per weft so I only have to wear a few wefts at a time to get the volume I want. I tend to split my sets up and wear one half until it's getting kind of worn and then switch to the other half. But if the extra $40 is intimidating, the deluxe set at 190 grams will still be really generous and beautiful, you'll just have to wear more wefts to achieve the same effect. I hope that helps!

hey kayley! first of all I have to say I love your videos and I use your tutorials all the time! I have a request if I may... I've got an idea for the Next Gen Braid; what if, after you do the first half of the pigtail and you secure it, you braid the second half with a different braid? Like, you start with the basic braid, tie it off, and then finish the second half with a fishtail braid? Or a reverse braid? I think it's be cute.

That would be cute! I also thought if your hair is long enough after you section the braid half way make a hole and pull the hair through to invert it and give it a little twist at the section and then continue braiding the rest of the hair.
