Thank you guys for putting out this content. It’s extremely hard to find a gym that has such a good grasp of the entire Jiu-Jitsu/ wrestling game. The gym I train at is really good but I feel lacks expertise on the wrestling game that would really benefit students. I’ve been recently watching the content on your channel and trying to patch the holes in my game. Since there are no PSF gyms around me this is the next best thing. Good health and God bless!

I have 3 questions: 1) when you circle to the right to snap down is that because you are circling in the direction they have the collar tie? 2) Does the direction you circle change if the leg you have forward changes? Ie southpaw vs orthodox? 3) When should your grips be loose and flowly (as yours appear to be) vs hard, rigid and held tightly for more than 5 seconds? Thank you 🙏

In my experience the teaching style from wrestling is that they show you a technique and tell you to go do it. In bJJ instructors tend to go over 30 different scenarios involving the techniques. Bjj i find they make it to technical from the start and it's slows progress for beginners.
@Spiritof_766 ай бұрын
That's entirely dependent on the instructors and the ability level of the students.
@RitzCaraldo6 ай бұрын
@@Spiritof_76 why even bother making that comment? Read the first three words of my comment. Reading comprehension is basically zero at this point.
@Spiritof_766 ай бұрын
@@RitzCaraldo You wrote that "in bJJ instructors..." You wrote as if you have experience that could be generalized. You critiqued the way it is taught. Why did you even bother to make that comment if you are now going to minimize your generalizations? It doesn't seem you've enlightened the discourse.

@@RitzCaraldo Learn to write about what you have more experience concerning. How many wrestlers have you taken a class from or trained under? And how many bjj instructors? And cut out the hyperbole. 30 different scenarios?
