Another great video. I really appreciate that they are shorter and to the point.

yeah man try to keep em short and around 2-5 minutes if its something easy to cover

Nice, at first I was like big deal, but the moment you repurposed the strap for a hanger you sold me! Nice Job
@thewhitetailexperience60556 жыл бұрын
yeah its an extra step with function of multiple things- i feel the easy hang helps with noise ( less likely for an error) - good luck this fall

Can’t believe I didn’t think of this before. Recently bought a strap stager from genesis 3d printing to remedy this issue but man this is just a stupid simple and logical solution.

That a great idea. I always used a climber but this year I switched to a XOP stand with 4 hawk steps and I knew this would be a small pain in the ass. But you just made it 100% easier for any that watches
@thewhitetailexperience60555 жыл бұрын
thanks man its a little trick that makes it easier/quicker and maybe less chance of error ( loud bangs )

This is why I like the Millennium hang on stands - the receivers make hanging super easy.

yeah we have hunted out of millennium but the bat wing feature allows for some great advantages we feel - good luck this fall

Ive had trouble in the past holding the stand up and hooking the strap around. I have used a tree step, but that is too long and it takes too long to screw it in. Good idea. Especially moving it over for hanging other things. Thanks

yeah we had same issue and this is how we came up with this system, Glad it helped you

I don’t saddle hunt but I learned a hanging tip from a Tetherd video the other day. I fastened a Nite Ize gear tie to my bat wing bracket. So if I’m on a tree the stand might want to slide down or I’m hanging my big stand, my Echo, all it takes is a couple of wraps with one hand of the gear tie around my linesman belt. The gear tie also serves double duty since it’s in the perfect spot to secure my pack.

Great ideal, keep that in mind. Been thinkin about the xop stand and sticks. Switch next yr to hang and hunt some besides a few of my permanent stands

nice really like the xop and good price point as well

Small but great tip. I have to implement this in my setup. I was having problems holding my stand by one arm and trying to cinch it down with another hand.

I use a EZ hang hook from Lone Wolf, but very similar setup with my Gorilla hang on. Works slick!

Been using xop since the first year they dropped and I've been riding with them ever since. I have a lone wolf alpha as well and prefer my xop vanish stand. Seems more solid and seat is way more comfy

nice man big fan of xop for sure

Hmmmm. Gives me an idea. Instead of using the receiver I bought, I can adapt this but use a spare daisy chain strap I already use to hang gear off of. Just hang it, hang a hook off it and hang the stand on it, like you did. No fumbling with a buckle, and saves me having to fumble with that receiver. You could also hold the stand against the tree like a step, get the strap started, then turn it where you need it before cinching down. I’m curious about trying to use daisy chain straps to secure the stand.

The Hunting Beast Stand is so light I don’t need anything like this. But I would definitely use it for 10lb or heavier.

I do the same thing with a cheap carabiner with the gate cut out and some small amsteel rope. Less fumbling and less noise.

@@thewhitetailexperience6055 it changed ownership last I heard, I had the pre rut and full rut extreme system. Worked pretty good. I've now switched to first lite, best in the business imo. Check em out if you haven't already.

I use lone wolf still I put the old top hook strap with steel hook to hang it then use the regular strap way better system. Just saying
@BrandonSmith-jz3zt5 жыл бұрын
Why not just use the EZ hang hook system that you can buy from Lone Wolf or XOP? Serious question. Is this system better for you?
@thewhitetailexperience60555 жыл бұрын
so i still want the bat wing off set barcket working for me. the quick hang from xop also weighs 1lb. This allows me to hold the stand in place without fighting weight and then doubles as a gear hook .

How do you like that vanish stand? Been thinking of getting that one or the assault
@thewhitetailexperience60556 жыл бұрын
i like it a lot- for price its the best stand on the market- i have been running it for 2 years its great man. we have another video that breaks it down between the lone wolf and the vanish very compareable
