Easy Homemade Chicken Shawarma Recipe | Step-by-Step Guide

First, we'll marinate our boneless chicken pieces. In a bowl, mix sour yogurt, salt, ginger paste, garlic paste, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, chili powder, and soy sauce. Let the chicken soak in all these wonderful spices.
Next, let's prepare our custom shawarma sauce. Blend together yogurt, mayonnaise, chili sauce, mustard oil, coriander leaves, and a clove of garlic until smooth.
Then, cook the marinated chicken pieces without water for 10-12 minutes over medium to high heat. If needed, smash larger pieces into smaller ones for even cooking.
Meanwhile, lightly cook the salad ingredients. Sauté onions and capsicum with oil, salt, and black pepper for 2 to 3 minutes.
