Was watching your video with the sound off because my hubby was sitting here next to me reading. Then there was the tape incident. Sorry, but it was funny and I started laughing. Even without the audio the struggle was real and just reminded me why I don't use it. Must be the stickiest tape in the world. You over came and conquered and as usual produced a masterpiece.

🎶5, 6, 7, 8, my boot-scootin baby is drivin me crazy 🎶 You're not crazy at all. You're a lot of fun to watch and to listen to though! Oh my goodness, what a valiant battle with that naughty naughty tape trying to stick to everything! That's like me when I'm crafting, I'm a disaster waiting for somewhere to happen. This tag is absolutely beautiful, it has a lovely Victorian nautical sort of a theme to it with your color choices. It almost writes a story in my mind. Wonderful.

I just wanted to say that since the button has a plastic shank you could probably cut it off with a pair of wire cutters. That would reduce the bulk in your journal a little bit.

Great ideas for showing how many layers can work together (using up all those bits and bobs) to create a very interesting looking tag! For that glue tape, you need Tim Holtz Micro Serrated Mini Snips. I have some similar glue tape and the Holtz scissors don't stick.

I have that red tape in a few different thicknesses and it's the worst and the best!! It's super sticky which can be great until it's driving to everything it's not supposed to!

Hi Margreth! Awesome layered tag! I hate that kind of tape too, except for Scotch double sided. I was trying to not laugh,😂 but you are sooo funny sometimes! Yep. Just throw that stuff away! LOL To raise up a little bit they sell foam tape different thicknesses (heights) here in USA.
