How do you get 1 carb when total carb is 3 and 1 fibre? I have always been taught that net carbs is total carb minus fibre... which = 2 in this case.

The croissant 🥐 is made with layers of flour and butter - a french recipe. A crescent roll is made more simply as a biscuit dough. But your recipe is SO INSPIRING! I make a fathead dough all the time. However, to make it easier, I mix all the ingredients except the egg together and then microwave it all at one time. Once it is melted, I add the egg and then combine it into the dough. It has never failed me.

Mmmm...add in a little italian seasoning in the dough, and put in some pepperoni and mixed italian cheeses inside. Dip them in marinara. Or ranch. SO PERFECT!

I've just made these, they are perfect! 💚 But they did come out deformed and almost flat like pancakes, it's hot on my apt 🥴... but they tasted amazing. I did learn not to roll the dough out too thin, keep some thickness on the circle. Also that I need to put it back in the freezer for maybe another 15-30 minutes so they keep shape after added to preheated oven

Looks great! Can’t wait to try! I make my own strawberry jam that just has monk fruit/Allulose sweetener and chia seeds to thicken and when cooled I mix some in with softened slightly sweetened (with sugar free sweetener), cream cheese and keep it in the fridge in a small mason jar, to spread on heated (10 sec in microwave) low carb Mission flour tortillas, which tastes great for a dessert! However, I’m wondering if the filling could be put on one of these plain baked split croissants? Hmmmm. Sprinkle tops with a little powdered Swerve or powdered sweetener of your choice? Sounds yum to me!!

I think crescent rolls are just a special shape using roll dough but croissants are made differently with a higher fat to flour ratio where the fat is worked into the flour without melting to achieve the flaky layers (much as pie paste is worked.) This is my understanding of the difference. I could be mistaken.

The half method works great. For a great croissant you will need to roll and re-reoll. But half eincorn and half almond or wheat gluten is another option.

Rajouter le cream cheese à température ambiante, la poudre d'amandes, la levure, le sel et pétrir avec les mains jusqu'à obtenir une boule de pâte 3. Ajouter l'oeuf et mélanger 4. Emballer la pâte dans du film plastique 5. Mettre la pâte au congélo pendant 30 minutes 6. Rouler la pâte entre deux feuilles de papier sulfurisé 7. Découper la pâte en quartiers 8. Rouler ou mettre d'abord du jambon puis du fromage et rouler, puis deposer sur une plaque 9. Brosser un peu de beurre fondu sur les croissants 10. Ok Myra. I just took the crescent rolls from the oven. I literally followed every step you listed and I'm a retired personal chef so I know how to cook. However, these rolls flattened out and were extremely bland. What could have gone wrong? I did love the texture and they definitely seemed flaky.
