I have one child who packs and one that's in high school and will buy lunch. The thing that I love about your lunch box videos is that you don't use fancy expensive lunch boxes or containers that are crazy expensive as well. It's practical because sometimes, things just don't make it home. Thanks for the awesome lunch ideas. It's much appreciated!!

EXACTLY THIS! Oh my gosh, I spent sooo much time researching the best lunchboxes to buy years ago for my oldest son when he was going into preschool, because 1) I was afraid he was going to break them 2) I wasn't going to get them back and 3) If both 1 and 2 happened, that wold be more money I would have to spend on new stuff 😅 I can proudly say, that we've only ever lost a couple of the silicone liners over the years! Oh my gosh, that's so me! If my food is supposed to be hot, it needs to be HOT haha so I totally feel your kids! My kids are so laid back about food temperatures, but honestly, I've always wanted to try the thermos method! Maybe I should try it soon? My main concern would be not getting the thermos' back 😂

What kind of wraps are you using? Also do you pack an ice pack with wrap since you have veggies and fruits in the same container?

Hi Andrea! I use the plain flour tortillas as wraps since actual wraps are pretty large but they work just as well (and are more affordable too!) Depending on the weather here in the central valley, I occasionally drop in an ice pack at the bottom of their lunch, but the containers and lunchboxes themselves hold in the cold pretty well already from them being in the fridge. Yay, what a lucky morning 😊 went to ALDIs and grabbed the deals I wanted a crofton braising cast iron (reminded me of the video u did with the sweet potatoes) thankfully mine came with a lid. Great deal $24… Also grabbed my kids school lunch items for prepping ❤

I haven't but just looked them up! By the same brand right? I actually like those cause then that would eliminate the need for the liners! But wondering how large the main compartment is. Do you think you could fit a sandwich in that area still?🤔

Hi there! Are you referring to the sauce on the funeral sandwiches? Here's the sauce recipe that I use: 1 stick of butter, 4 tbsp mustard, 4 tbsp worcheshire sauce, 4 tbsp brown sugar, 1 tsp onion powder, and 1 tsp garlic powder. Hope that helps, they are DELISH! 😊

Haha hi Helen! I know they're strange kids! I never gave them the option of serving a salad dressing with their veggies. My son as he gets older though, sees it in other kids lunches and he asks about it 😂 I just tell him, they're sooo much better without the dressing! Thank you for being here!
