There ist just one thing... what if you try sing with your normal voice? I love this progression. 7th chords make boring progressions sound interesting. I know the song La Bamba, I have not heard the other one. Just noticed the cool shiny thing on your ear :D Looks so cool..

+Kevin glad you like this progression. It's so so easy to memorize and it's GREAT practice for moving from F to G7. Once people get past that hurdle, the next hurdle is barre chords. How are you doing with your uke!? I hope you love it!
