Your method worked beautifully! I was applying black paint on the underside of acrylic and alcohol to remove fingerprints and dust. My acrylic kept cracking!! The soap and detergent worked wonders, and I prefer the black card stock rather than paint (no messes or cleanup in between). I actually used your settings and the results were great! Thanks a bunch.

It could be that the auto focus on the WeCreat isn't precise with the clear acrylic and it's ending up slightly de-focused. I found when I de-focused my laser at all it caused the popping with the speeds and power I was using.

I'm not sure if by detergent you mean dish soap or laundry. Be sure you are using dish washing liquid, as some detergents will have chemicals that react and cause more problems with the engrave. You might also want to try playing with your power and speed. If you're getting black and tan you might also be running too hot and/or too slow. It's a process and can take a lot of trial and error to dial in for your laser. Hope this helps!

Double check your focus. I found that when my laser wasn't focused properly I'd end up with lots of pops. If you haven't done a ramp test to make sure your laser focus is dialed in I'd also suggest doing that so your focus is really precise. If you've done both of those things, keep going faster and lowering the power till you get it dialed in.

I can't convert to percentage because Lightburn only does mm/min or mm/sec. And even if I did convert to percentage it's going to be a different speed on your laser than it is on mine. If you're planning on getting serious with laser engraving I highly recommend purchasing the lightburn license. Extremely reasonable and it's a one time fee not a subscription so it's yours forever. If you plan to sell these plexiglass signs to the public, I would never use paper towels to wipe off water or anything with any paper towel or tissue because you can make very small fine scratches on the PLexi, you should use a cloth that is made specifically for cleaning your Large screen TV. they sell this cloth for screens and photo lenses to prevent tiny scratches when wiping off dust and stuff, but use mild soap and water & nothing harsh, rinse then wipe gently.
