you never explained how is it that you scaled the eagle to fit on your bed? i used the road runner example and when i load it its VERY small i cant get it to be as big as my bed.

seemed like he zoomed in with the mouse wheel altering the field of view on the simulation monitor, i don't think it scaled the job down altering it's x an y values, which is what I'd like to know is possible or not, and if so, how.

Good day, I have a problem with the travel in the cars of X and Z on a lathe, I adjust them in settings and in mill I move them and they run the distance with precision. but on turning I move it .1 "the X axis and it moves .210" and on the Z axis I move it .1 "and it moves 0.030" thanks.

Not sure if you can help or not. I have my CNC, home built, with a Pokey57cnc controller. When I select machine coordinate and then click on the ref all home button none of my axis move and the DRO’s go to zero. Would you have any ides why the axis don’t move? Thank you.

Hi there Roger. Thanks again for all your videos. I have done all what you show us, and great it all worked well, until now. Today I wanted to engrave some words and wierd thing happened, the first letter was fine but each next letter went deeper and deeper in the material. I had set all the letters to be engraved in the same depth. Maybe you know what could be the problem? Could it be the machine? I have calibrated the axis several times and it goes correct. Please please help if you know what could be the problem. Thank a million.

You need to get a licence for Mach3 from Artsoft, it is locked at 500 lines as a demo

Dear Roger. Thank you so much for your videos, they help a lot. Just wondering maybe you can help me something. I am quite new with all this programm and the cnc machine, so it doesn't come easy for me. But the thing I am struggling now is that i don't know how I get the machine cut/engrave in exact place I need. I think i might of miss putting some details in Mach3 or something. And the worst part is that for some reason the spindle goes right into the material, how and where should i fix that it stops exactly where the materail begins? Roger Webb THANK for your response, the issue is that it seems that when im home Y&Z should be moving away from 0 "home" in the Positive direction? but as you see by my setup one is in the - & the other is in the + direction so if i run a G-code from your software one axis will not be heading into the center of the material but away

Franks Hots Ok, now I understand, go into config (top left hand side) of Mach 3 window. Then click on home and limits in this window you can change the individual axes from + to - this should sort your problem out. Roger Clyde Webb Australia ; ))
