I commented previously on one of your other vids, and I am convinced more than ever you could take your knowledge and apply this to a profitable classroom environment. You could put together a two day LS conference and limit the number of attendees to 20-30 and teach tuning and stand alone harnesses. Your explanations are concise and easy to understand. You only need the blue connector. On the connector, you only need pin 19-12v switched ignition, pin 20-12v constant, pin 59-serial data, and pin 60-ground.

Thank you. Got all of my parts to do a bench harness hook up a few years ago but fell off the project for a while. Getting back into everything finally. 75 c10 with a 5.3 and Turbo400. Definitely going with HP tuners when I get the cash.

i only used the blue connector for mine, and green blue pcm are not just drive by wire a lot of express vans have them with drive by cable

Hold up Red Blue is the 0411 aka P01 and the Green Blue is the P59. The difference is 500kb or 1Mb with the P01 starting in 99 to 02 Truck and 99 to 03 vettes and P59 03-07 Truck and 04 vettes. Now the throttle body being DBW or DBC is 100% dictated by the OS and you can swap the OS as I have a RED BLUE P01 in my 02 C5 and it is DBW, and I am swapping to a 03 Truck P59 but gonna give it the 04 vette OS that can run flexfuel while also having the 3 bar Map code mod available as flex came out in 02 and you can easily find Tahoe/Suburban OS from that year with Flex tables, but it only gives you the 2 bar mod as an option. Let alone the changes from a 02 C5 to 04 is less than a 02 C5 to a Tahoe.

Shouldn't you have a switch on the Key on power going to the ECM so that you can switch off the "key" and leave Batt power to the ECM so that you get a proper write to memory during its shutdown sequence?

hey nice work so one question, am rebuilding a LS harness and am saving low oil level sensor, the question is, Do you know what wire from PCM is the one that triggers the wire to turn warning low oil light in the dash to know when oil pan is low?

i believe you actually only need the blue connector? I just tuned a blue and green ecu thru a blue and red harness using only the blue connector.

I have used mine for years and it is only the blue connector. Works on the 0411 Red/Blue and P59 Blue/Green style just fine. Like your projects!

Hello, I have a 2003 Silverado Z71 with the 5.3 DBC with the 6106 ECM. Can I use this ECM and factory harness for My LS swap into my 1997 Silverado Z71. I see alot about using the 0411 but my donner truck has the 6106 ECM?

Wire nuts are for solid core wire, not stranded automotive wire.

Yeah they are just colors. You may have to grind off a small plastic edge they put on the colored pin covers to force them to be installed a certain direction, but other then that they are all the same as far as I know.

Hello. I just completed my wiring of my harness and I went to start my dad's 1967 Olds Cutlass with 4.8LS (Engine from 2003 Chevy Silverado) Conversion and smelled fuel, I luckily had the exhaust and headers separated. I saw fuel spraying out of the passenger side of the header. I Swapped injectors for Cylinder #4 & #6 after smelling fuel on the plugs. I restarted the engine and the fuel still leaked unburned raw fuel. Any Ideas on how I should fix?

Mopar wouldn't be most expensive here as we can get truck hemi engines for $300 or whatever it is at our local Junkyard. Will probably be awhile before a Coyote shows up in there. I would like to do all three swaps, but hard to compete dollar for dollar with an LS.
