Just for info, I do the base layer with a white dip. Then never file off the white. I'll never overfile into the natural nail. Of course if there is lifting, that part has to be removed and new base and white applied.

(Question...This happened with my Blue nails...I actually filed my activator off not once but twice. I was not being hard but that adherence before the topcoat never stuck because I filed the whole thing off. So the first time I activated twice before filing. The second time I activated twice on most nails, three times on 4 nails...because of flusterablilty & I think I forgot! Hahahahahaha!! Nevertheless...both times when filing, my nail popped off. 👀(My prep was on point! Seriously! I now love my prep!) Have an eggsalent Day! Hahahaha! ✌🏻

You totally can! I would probably add the glitter at the end tho. They can get burried or be super sporadic when mixed into a marble

So, did I understand correctly in that you encapsulated in both base and top, filed, and then top coated again? Forgive my senior moment. And then how to remove without peel off base? Like a gel or like a dip? What if you efile everything down by at least half? Which method?

You got it right! I used the gel base and top as my encapsulation layer to file over. For removal, you could use a file, efile, or soak off. Of a combo of all! Total personal preference 💜

Totally happens! You can prevent that by applying a gel primer or a gel base before gel top!
