Great tips. However i would slightly disagree with a few points regarding the settings. If you shoot a moving subject at maximum megapixel on some smartphones, you get that shutter lag and processing lag and images often end up being blurry. This is because most budget phones have low power processor and the higher megapixel count like 48, 52,108 is achieved by stacking sensor pixel data of multiple exposures. But it can be used for still subjects and landscapes. It goes same for saving images on a micro SD card. It is faster for a phone to process and save photos on internal memory rather than on an external memory device. Phones these days have decent amount of storage and RAM. This helps a phone specially in the burst mode as it will not buffer between shots.
