The most insane RNG just happened to me. I just got Agatha in the Token Shop and I got her, because I really wanted her. I have 15 cards at most from pool 3 and the deck I want to play with Agatha has Ghost Rider and I didn't have him. I opened a Collector's Cache and said to myself "it would be insane if I got Ghost Rider here" and I DID!!!

Lol that dracula/infinaut deck at 27:00 is similar to the deck I've been playing. Bunch of 0/1 costs, Adam Warlock to draw out the whole deck, Carnage and Angel to thin, then Strong Guy, Drac into Infinaut to finish, literally playing all 11 cards most games, worst case is if like Drac and Adam are at the bottom.

Regarding what you mention at around 11:40... Even if there's no "power creep" when jumping from pool to pool, running into things like Killmonger will be super hard for pool 1 players. IMO stop at CL 209, rack up some energy, and once you can do a few unlocks, go into pool 2. Take your time, get a feel for the different locations, practice the different archetypes, etc. There's no reason to rush collection level in this game, sometimes it's detrimental.

I completely agree, but I think it's a good thing but in somewhat the wrong game. Because, at least in my opinion, Marvel snap is insanely addicting, but does not reward the constant play that it allows. In my opinion, it would be better if you got a little bit of the upgrade currency after every game to encourage grinding.

Most Agatha decks are like this one: built to give you back control ASAP. And competitive games in snap will be best of 10 cubes, so a lot of the skill in snapping and retreating will still be present even if Agatha stays in control

Well, no. I was trying desperately to mitigate the chance of discarding Hela, the only card that matters. Playing rock makes it more likely she's gone. I'd vastly prefer discarding a Rock and having a Hela, than having a Rock and discarding a Hela.

I think Chavez is always wrong in this deck, because it decreases your chance of drawing your key turn 6 cards, namely Hela and Ghost Rider. You should run another strong cheap with discard synergy for Agatha to play with, maybe Wolverine.

I get how the deck work, but why do you need Agatha? I'm sure you can control the game better if you remove Agatha and change her with someone just as beefy, like hulk for example. Yes it's 2 point lower than Agatha but I think the added control is way worth it. Is there any real reason why you need Agatha?

The reason you play Agatha is because she's 14 power you can essentially cheatyface into play if she gets discarded by your various discard effects, along with all the other cards discarded throughout the match. But honestly, the fun is in the meme of using Agatha and winning with her to begin with XD

Unfortunately it doesnt work like that. Apocalypse doesnt go to your discard pile when its "discarded" as it returns to your hand. So it cant be resummoned

Pools definitely feel a bit unbalanced imo... The only viable archetype in pool 1 is zoo, and things only rly open up in pool 2. However, the most unique cards are all pool 3.

Devil Dino is more than viable in pool one. You've also got Odin decks that can do well in pool 1 as well. Hell, even my 'good stuff' deck that just plays against the meta in pool one does really well. Zoo is fine but it's shut down so easily by Enchantress and even Electra just popping a single high powered one drop to kill off a lane.

Now, on the next round, if I play a card in the same location as Jessica, will she still +4? What if I played a card in her previous location before she was punched over? Will she still +4? This is my confusion. Thanks for any input I really love this game been playing non stop just not clear of all the specific rules cus there’s nowhere to find them
