I've been doing Dagger / GreatSword since level 1. Maxed DEX first, now STR. Level 31. Love it. Zero complaints. Great single target burst + stun + AOE + survivability. I focus on + crit as much as possible with my gear and skills.

Better tip for weapon transfers: if you know what weapon you want to lvl up (I.e. your blue weapon) don’t transfer your maxed green weapon to your zero ranked blue. Why? Each time you increase a weapon level, it requires more mats. Believe it or not (idc if you do cause it’s the truth), going from lvl 3 blue weapon to lvl 9 will cost MORE mats versus leveling your blue weapon to 7 and THEN weapon transfer your green into the blue weapon. Trust me. You WILL save more. I learned this from another KZbinr about a week ago and put it into practice. Blue weapons go to 9, not 6. Which will cost waaaay more weapon upgrade tokens (whatever they’re called) when you get to level 5, 6, 7 etc.

@@TotoyMolangMarikinaif you’re asking if a maxed green +6 is transferred to a (0) Blue weapon, then no. It doesn’t go to 6. It goes to 3 I think. It’s significantly less

@@ferryharyantoo yes but it’s actually closer to 7.5+ experience for the blue item. That +6 green doesn’t give a lot of experience. It seems like a maxed green should give 6 lvls of experience, but it doesn’t. It doesn’t give automatically 3 lvls of experience either going into a blue item. Only from +6 grn to a (0) blue item with it give +3 blue. But around 7.5+ ish blue experience, you can add that +6 green weapon to finish maxing that blue one. If that makes sense. This game robs the hell out of F2P players so managing your materials and looking up guides is the best way to not blow everything early on. You’ll be miserable

@@jok3r816 gs/dagger has some huge hits that are fun. It may be viable late game with awesome gear. But comparing the 2 at level 30 my bow/staff is running circles around the gs/dagger. Could just be my play style also. I was able to set up a macro to auto push 1through 0 constantly. I eat up everything.

Pick what skill you feel flow well together and read skills passives that helps a lot with dmg use these guides as a sort of kind of thing, gs dash, stun, charge move the rest up to you👍🏽

Nice video. What is missing is a stats priority. I mean ctit rate, evasion, endurance... You need to know this when you choose gear, even green one.

I play gs/dag and id say my dps is extremely high in dungeons and in certain scenarios with pvp. My rotation in pve is basically buff my gullotine blade and filler while on cd. Highest crit atm on 50 cave of destro boss is 19.5k but regularly 15k crits

Keep dagger out always, weapon mastery for dagger is more beneficial (move speed, evasion etc.) Once you use a gs skill, since the game swaps your weapon once you use the skill, you'll have your gs mastery in effect.

@ezpeezee5368 haven't tried crossbow yet. Just look through the mysteries of crossbow and see if there are any defensive passives that outweigh the dagger ones. But for th3 most part , I'd say dagger out always.

I run a lightning stacks build with GS and I have no problems reaching full stacks before thunderbombing with it, the dmg is also higher I think main GS is just better
