I don't think so. I had to switch to Cerebro 3 because this deck is performing worse against Loki. If you don't Enchantress their Quinjet and Loki. They could drop Red Skull and Taskmaster in T6. Crazy.

Was playing a deck like this before Loki, subbing out task, Mary, enchant, and zero for Spider-Man, kraven, captain marvel and silk (and then later armor for Jeff) to get a flexible move package in there to make vision more impactful. Won infinite conquest with it and generally felt so slept on. Even the captain Marvel nerf didn’t hurt it enough to prevent getting infinite conquest, but it got really hurt when fighting Loki since the move package was better for Loki to take than this one it looks like. Might wanna try this one now since I loved playing that deck and it felt hit by Loki

I ran a similar version of this deck from rank 73-86. I had silk move package with black bolt instead of vision and stature instead of Chavez. Last turn I could play miles for 1, stature for 1 and captain Marvel.

Maaaan, Got to 99 and 9 cubes(have screenshots to prove it) on night 2 of the season. Using a Hela Modok/Ironman onslaught Living Tribunal package mine had super Skrull. And I WALKED FROM 35-95, zero resistance, but then, I immediately took an 8 cube loss to THIS OR SOMETHING SIMILAR. (I hate you Enchantress) I had this deck, or something very similar, mine had Cosmo, but I just got the Dan Hipp Sauron, and I haven’t played Shury in forever so im’a see how f this gets me from Galactic to Infinate. Although I already got the 500 gold and struggling to get from 95 to 99 was very sweaty. Not at all how I like to play the game but I will give this whirl! Thanks, Regis.

I play sunspot and she-hulk in place of chavez and vision, it allows you to float on turn 5, and play a shuried she hulk for 18, plus a task master on another lane

Been playing the anti Loki C3 deck and climbing a ladder of broken Loki horns. This deck does give me problems. However Valkyrie on red skull and or Shadow King on taskmaster can steal some cubes

I’ve been using a Sauron deck for the past few seasons, I find the Shuri taskmaster version of the deck to be a little too predictable so I have Wave and Doom instead which got me a 76% winrate last season

I just hit infinite using the old(?) #1 player's Cerebro 3 deck (see KM Best's video yesterday) -- substituting Shang Chi in for Wasp. I feel like I could sometimes beat this matchup if Shuri wasn't armored. That said, Cerebro 3 was probably one of the more brain-burning control decks I've played. It's the opposite of turning your brain off. Also, most don't run Shang so Red Skull usually would really ruin Cerebro 3's day.

26:44 I'm pretty sure top decking Hulk wins because of wave last turn. Hulk costs 4 so it gains 2 power and Iron Lad gains 2 power so it's 23 on the right and you lose the tie breaker. Also Misty Knight could hit the right.

I was using a deck just like this but with she-hulk instead of Chavez, I was getting good milage except agaist Loki players. Felt unwinnable against them so its always the right call to retreat early, so congrats to the #1 player being able to get there regardless of Loki

This deck has a good MU vs Loki. Should be able to defeat them most of the time. Loki pumps one location and at most can put a dino in another, plus copying this deck doesnt benefit him at all since all the ongoing stuff isnt disabled for Loki players.

@Seymourb00bz You underestimate collector. He and one other card beats pretty much everything this deck can throw at. Plus, the only way to win against loki is if you shuri and make sure you have zero bad ongoing effects. That doesn't always happen, even when I would still say it's tough even when someone gets good draws

Man its weird.. Sauron has been my favorite card/deck so I went back to using it for this season and now all of a sudden its back to number 1. I ran the classic version with Titania, but switched it to Kitty. Never used Vision in my version always kept She-Hulk no America Chavez. I feel i'm on track with guessing some of the better decks to use for this season I just happened to go back with this archetype.

Typhoid with Sentry or any big power 4 energy, Shuri to ShangChi or Zabu

Shuri is the reason to run this deck, without it the deck kinda sucks. Typhoid could be a hobgoblin but then you lose the Taskmaster some of the time.

You can't build this deck with out Shuri and Task Master (Shuri being the only one you mentioned). Ironman is the only alternative to Shuri (though not really) and that's counter to Sauron, etc, meaning you're building a completely different deck that wants to go tall, but is easier for a Loki to copy and setup. I'm also unable to make this deck since I'm still missing Tankmaster (one of the last 8 cards I need in my collection of Series 3 cards) Task master is necessary for super tall plays.

Great question! Basically playing out cards to maximize your energy expenditure every turn. So playing a 1-cost on turn 1, a 2-cost on turn 2, a 3-cost on turn 3, etc. I would say generally there's an implication in the phrase that you're playing a matching cost card each turn, and not for instance a 1- and 2-cost card together on turn 3, but that could be somewhat interchangeable depending on the person. Usually we talk about playing on curve in the context of using a card now in a slightly less than optimal way because we expect we won't have another chance to use it later in a more optimal way. Like Lizard in this deck is almost always better later in the game than on turn 2 (so you can target where to play it), but you rarely have 2 spare energy to play it later. So you "play it on curve" instead of saving it.

If you have Kitty Pryde, maybe you can try that version with Kitty? Same gameplan, but there are times you can avoid priority with how you play your early game and it has a lot of flexible power with Vision, Kitty, and Jeff...

Any high-powered card should do. Attuma can be used with Zero and Armour. Sentry is a bit tricky but can be used with Zero and Viper.

I feel clever, that I figured it out without this video :) I reached infinite with it in 2 days. I added Juggernout as shang-chi, and nimrod was everywhere and it is a surprise turn 6, which can give a lot of 8 cubers. The problem is, that after everyone notice this, the meta will change, and it will not be true anyomore :)

Yo regis i have a question do Spotlight Caches guarantee a draw ✋️ ? I had the perfect 3 Spotlight Caches for Jeff,Ghost and Knull. Instead of getting what I was promised I only ended up getting 1000 collectors tokens on my 3rd opening for Jeff. Seems rigged for Jeff

How it works is the new cards are on the same level as the 1000 tokens and the variants on another. You get new cards and then variants. So if of the 4 spotlights you have 2 already, it's 50/50 to get the new card.

The problem is, Loki is too broken. With quinjet enemy loki was able to play both red skull and taskmaster at turn 6. Like how is it even fair bruh? (He did lose but still giving that -1 cost is unfair. With quinjet it becomes way too cheap. This season is really bad for f2p players.

This is a powerful deck if left unchecked for sure, but I feel like this guy is getting lucky, lol. It's so predictable that it is easy to counter. I'm not sure if ever lost one game to this deck in ladder when I was climbing. They play Shuri on 4 you know exactly where they are playing on 5. Maybe my deck just naturally had counters, but I would either Cosmo their armor lane on 4 knowing Shuri was coming, or just prof x another lane in 5 while they played their red skull/vision. I also had both goblins, so on 5 you could also just fill a lane if they only had one spot open.

I was actually gonna ask all of you how you felt about this. It came off a little weird to me than an employee with access to the behind-the-scenes data would both play to the top spot and also post publicly about it, but I didn't want to overreact or stir up any drama. I'm not sure it's like actively a problem, as there's nothing at stake with the ranks (no prizes or anything). I'm just not sure I would've done the same in that position. Makes me feel a little uneasy, I guess. What do you all think?
