Bro this deck is gas!!! Been playing it with 80-90% win rate. It's such a great balance of power and flexibility. It puts out big threats quickly and constantly and doesn't run out of gas because the treasure sac shell. It like a better version of mono green in how it operates. No burn or control needed when you are putting constant pressure on the opponent.

Today, I queued into the same mono red player 5 times in a row. Then I took a break and come back and queued against the same mono white player 3 times in a row. I think it has something to do with how soon you queue after a game. Anyone running into this problem? I played ranked Bo1. Also, the standard Bo1 event is now taking on average 1 and a half minute to get in since I last did one on 8/23/21, when it only took about 15 seconds... Is no one playing this game where I live??

Nice! I just made this deck with my 3 day mobile account, I’m missing blood on the snows and 3 of the overall dragon count, so I just crammed frost bite and dragons fire as place holders, and price of loyalties as the hidden tech. When in doubt I just add a little removal soup from what I have. Faceless Haven was the first rare play set I crafted, I wanted to start the game with access to that cause you keep showing its merits.

In the angel rematch, wouldn't blood on the snow resolve entirely (i.e returning a creature to the battlefield) before the rampage trigger?

Wrenn and Seven token, Liesa and Infernal Graso are 3 cards I think will match up reasonably against Goldspan. I do however think it will remain the best red card in the format. Mono Red got a sweet new card with Bloodthirsty Adversary. As well as Sacred Fire in RW. So I could definitely see either a Mono Red or RW Midrange deck taking advantage of those if UR Dragons doesn't remain a top deck itself.

@38:25 They made a mistake with the Lorehold Command here. Should have saved it for your turn to defend against the blood on the snow, and/or survive blocking the Predator. I don't think the benefit of that Command play was significant enough to give up the advantage of indestructible on your turn.

Yeah, if you draft a decent amount of AFR you need very few wildcards to complete the deck. Also some of the wildcards are well spent: faceless haven, lands and the goldspan dragon are always gonna find a home

I don't comment often to talk about how I did/didn't do with the decks, but honestly that's because most of the time I just end up going around 60-70% with the decks, until I've played 10 or so matches in a day and then Arena makes me on the draw almost every game. After that I feel like winrates no longer are representative of a deck, because I'm being punished for playing more than average because Wizards hates active players. :^) For instance I started 7-3 with this deck and finished 8-8 with 6/8 of my last games on the draw against green stompy/white aggro.

Technically there was a way out of that white game at the end. You probably should have saced and made a treasure soo that if you drew a pathway you blood in the snow and probably win. Hindsight is 20/20 but I expect a mage of your caliber should understand that being down to 2 vs being down to 3 really is of no significant difference when white really doesn’t have a trample creature and redine is lethal at either health...

48:57 Should have cast Blood on the Snow instead. You would've gotten Shambling Ghast from the grave and a 4/4 token to swing with. They would have Apparitioned the token on their turn. Then you play the Dragon and the second Ghast. The ghasts hold off the Apparition while Dragon swings for the win.
