I am 53. I did a cute look yesterday and my daughter (she’s 22) said I can pass for in my 40’s!! I’ll take that! Lol. She said when I do full look it doesn’t make me look older but it just makes me look my age. My look yesterday made me look glowy and younger. @@nyusere Hi!!! I’m 53, dry type skin. Light to medium. I like foundations w a lil peach. I like in PA (outside of Philly) so we get all 4 seasons. Pretty good complexion. Just a lil redness. Some wrinkles too. Lol.

@@nyusere I am also neutral. I bought light/med neutral and it’s great. Doesn’t pull yellow at all. Gives your face a very smooth look. It’s not dewy and shiny. Also , you don’t need much!! It’s very pigmented.

@@nyusere I normally don’t buy high end makeup. I like drugstore things. I have more drugstore than high end. However I do like the Armani Luminous Silk. I wear 5.5. This foundation is lovely!!! I bought the mini. Drugstore foundations can just run too yellow or can be too thick. I wish more high end foundations can come in minis. I also wish more drugstore concealers/foundations were labeled W/C/N. It would be nice we didn’t have to guess.

I absolutely live Merit. So glad to see them highlighted. I too was hooked after trying the blushes. I have them in 3 colors and looking forward to getting the rest. The color MOOD is the perfect come in from the snow, wintery flush! It also adds a bit of deepening when paired with TERACOTA. I just discovered the mascara and love along with new lipsticks and foundation stick. Thanks for featuring!

I love the lip oils! I got Marrakech in a Sephora lip kit, I wasn’t expecting to love it! As it fades it almost stains my lips! I immediately wanted another so I got Sangria. It’s a beautiful berry that isn’t too deep. They are just the best formula!

Do you use a primer, if so do I apply my primer before or after sunscreen? I’ve been trying to figure that out. Lol!

Hi Brandi! I do use primer sometimes - it kind of depends on my mood and how I'm feeling or what I'm testing out :). Helpful tip - sunscreen is the last step of skincare. Massage it in thoroughly and let it sink in. Primer would be the first step of makeup after you've given your skincare (and thus, your sunscreen) time to absorb). Hope that helps!

Just an idea💡 So my bestie has psoriatic arthritis (luckily it has not affected her face) however so many products are irritating. So I would loooooove to see a video of natural, vegan and cruelty free products. (You're the guru of finding those out of other channels I've watched 💯) It seems over the last several years people have autoimmune, severe skin irritation, food and environmental allergies. I have the upmost faith you can come up with something epic💪 (Probably take awhile for the research, but Sephora's next big holiday sale is a hot minute away so what a perfect time- right before😉)

I work third shift in a city in the Midwest and I cannot believe the difference in the past year and the amount of crime that we are dealing with. I hear gunshots every night and one day we had 70 cars stolen. If you have a Kia Or a Hyundai, Anywhere really you should get a steering wheel device/protecting yourself is the most important thing, everyone should learn.❤️

Stephanie - did you have to sign anything to partner with Merit? Kackie from Kackie Reviews Beauty worked with them a while back and they slipped a clause into the doc she signed that was a trap - if she ever mentioned their brand in any video THEY WOULD OWN the content. Now when she refers to them she says "carrot" instead so they can't claim the video.

Hi! Yes contracts are drawn when you partner with brands to protect both parties. I have a legal team that looks over all of them before I sign so that things like or other things I’m not comfortable with don’t happen. It’s so important because there’s so much legal jargon in them. I’ve had a few alarming things happen in the past where I got pretty burned. Thank you for the heads up! 🥰

I totally get that. I had a brand that I used to talk about a lot do me really wrong a long time ago. They eventually made good because of legal reasons. But part of the stipulation was that I wouldn’t drag them publicly. I never did. But I completely stopped mentioning their product that was once a holy grail for me. I’m pretty sure a lot of people figured out what went on though. Things can get really sticky, which is a shame.

You're confused because you either skipped around the video and/or didn't watch it fully. To address the primer: not everyone uses primer all the time since it's an optional product. Here, I used a slightly tinted sunscreen. To address the bronzing powder: There is no bronzing powder in this video at all. I used a cream bronzer stick. The only powder used was setting powder, which was the very last face step in the video, followed by lips.
