It may be breastmilk that has been pumped. Some babies cannot latch well to the mother, in which case pumped breastmilk is given to them. But yes, the baby should be held at an angle, not laid flat on back.

Baby needs a break this feeding method can tire the baby and the feeder. I will be afraid to use as choking or air can go in. Pray safe feeding.
