Pretty sketchbooks are everywhere, but they can be intimidating can't they? So what if you could have a pretty one that took the pressure away? That's what my mission was with this DIY!
You see, if we can make a sketchbook that doesn't involve glue, sewing or staples then we have the option of removing pages (if we really hate what we drew) or even removing them for sharing purposes, such as framing a picture or putting it onto a scanner for a digital copy.
It's so easy! Just grab whatever you want to use as a cover, get some art paper (why not make a mixed paper sketchbook?), trim if needed, put it into the cover and hold together with an elastic! I find that thin, colourful hair elastics work particularly well, as does elastic bands. If you don't have any then ribbon, string or even paper clips might be a solution.
