I have 4 beautiful/handsome children (2 girls /2 boys; in that order). But when I was 17 I had a chemical miscarriage. I was very young and had just stepped out on my own in the world and was doing alot, alot of drinking. I didn't know I was pregnant because it was way too early. Every day my unborn baby crosses my mind and wonder what he/she would've been like and I always talk to my baby and apologize for all of my partying because I feel that played a huge part in my having a miscarriage. I can only pray that when I pass on that they will forgive me. So when I hear this song I sing it for myself and my unborn baby and the guy I was dating at the time. We broke up later but it was hard for me to tell him about the miscarriage because he had already had an ex girlfriend that he broke up with for having an abortion and I knew the heartache he felt each day thinking about his unborn baby as he wasn't a part of her decision to terminate her pregnancy. He hadn't even known she was pregnant and was told later after the termination was already done. So I sing it for him as well cause I know that me telling him about it has only added to his heartache that he carries with him thru life. So to myself and my unborn child and my ex please, go easy on me.

it really hurts alot to have a father who's rich and has a lot to offer cause he rejected me and my 4 sisters and being 9 years old my mum moved out with us but It wasn't easy cause she got diagnosed with fibrosis which was and is still very painful 😞 so I at least I managed to complete my primary school and then I had to step out being the big girl to work and support my siblings and now am 22 years old and still doing it that really pains me but I can't give up on work and myself too believing that they will make me and mummy proud so thanks so much ADELE for this beautiful song dedicating it to my mum for being such a strong woman and the man who rejected us but still life go on 💯.
