#scones #easy #bake #delicious Hi lovely people, todays video is a 3 ingredient scone recipe that I was given by one of my lovely subscriber’s called Marie, and it was given the thumbs up by two more subscribers, the lovely Jean, and the lovely Sandra. Thank you ladies for sharing this recipe, the scones are delicious and so easy to make.

Recipe:
3 cups of SR flour
1 cup double cream
1 cup sprite
Egg or milk to glaze and a sprinkling of sugar are optional
Mix together, cut into shapes or cut with a round, place on a baking sheet, put in a preheated oven 200 degrees for 15-20 mins.

Such an easy recipe Lynn. I have made them before with cream and lemonade, also used yogurt instead of cream. Your cutter has gone to the land where teaspoons and vegetable knives go, never to be seen again. 😂. ❤x

It’s 3 cups SR Flour, 2 cups yogurt. I made with Alpro yogurt so they were vegan. Good, but can’t beat the taste of butter in my opinion. X

They are ballerina ❤️ I haven’t spoke to him today, so not sure but I think he will have done. I’ve made more sausage rolls today, pizza cupcakes, root veg soup, I’m all baked out for today lol. I’ve just had an Amazon delivery of a mandalin slicer, there’s a recipe I want to try so I’m looking forward to that. Hi Lynn, so pleased you tried and liked those scones. It's definitely a winner. The last bit of the mix is the bonus for the Baker, a bit bigger😅😅. I can't eat them warm they give me indigestion, but some cafes serve them warm😢. I can eat them plain or with dried fruit, cherries, and at this time of year with cranberries and white chocolate. Oh Lynn that is a great recipe for me. I have bad eczema on my hands and sometimes cannot bake when I have to rub butter into flour so being able to mix all in bowl is brilliant. When my hands are bad I resort to recipes where I don't have to use my hands too much because they are so painful. So my thanks to Marie, your recipe is a god send. Hi Lynn……we call those scones ‘lockdown scones’……the recipe was doing the rounds during lockdown, I’ve made plain, fruit, choc chip and cheese (my eldest daughters favourite). The cheese scones work well even though you use Sprite, just make sure you add strong cheese to give the flavour. I don’t think they store well though but hey, who needs to store them, just eat them all😂.

I like this recipe and will try it as soon as I figure out what self-rising flour is and also double cream. I'll google it. I like watching you cook. You keep your kitchen clean and your practices are done safely. I watched another do those sausage rolls and it was a completely different story. There was cross contamination going on and touching surfaces with raw meat on the hand. Makes one not want to eat things cooked in someone's home as you dont know what is going on there.

Hi, you just buy it from the supermarket, the same as plain flour. Double cream is full fat, the kind you can whisk to make it thick. @@Nanna-M of course I’ll share. To you and anyone else that wants it. I forgot to say it was peanut butter fudge. Sorry! You need 2 cups peanut butter, 2 sticks or 16 tablespoons or half a pound of margarine. Be sure to use margarine not butter. Blue Bonnet is the best but bet you don’t have it in the UK! Melt peanut butter and margarine together. Stir in confectioners sugar and mix well. It should be good and stiff. Put into foil lined 8x8 or 9x9 pan. Chill a couple of hours or overnight, cut and enjoy!

Well I’ve just made the scone recipe , found some cups . So I did all the right measurements . But !! Oh my god , so sticky . 🙈just put blobs on the tray , then into the oven . Don’t think it will work 😂. I’ll let you know 😂

Aw Jennifer, it’s easy really, say you use a teacup, as long as you use that same cup for all your measurements you should be fine, 3 flour, 1 cream, 1 sprite…if it’s too sticky you can use add a bit more flour, flour your hands, and your board. Ahhh Jennifer, I hope you give them another go ❤️🎄🤶🏻

Funny you should say everyone has self raising flour but I made some lemonade scones earlier in the year and only had plain flour in. By mistake I added bicarbonate instead of baking powder. They were disgusting and went in the bin!

They are really nice. No I don’t soak, it’s an unsmoked gammon joint that I get, either from Aldi or Tesco, I don’t soak first, I pour boiling water over it just to cover, cook on high, and just leave it, it falls apart and it’s delicious. I leave the plastic ring on that olds it together till it’s cooked. ❤️🎄🤶🏻

Wow Lynn, I am off to get a bottle of sprite and cream….Could I perhaps add just a sprinkling of cheese on top or would that not be good because of the sugar and cream content!! Thanks Lynn, take care xx

Hi Tina I’ve put cheese in the mix and they came out fine, the lemonade just replaces the sugar you would normally have put in the scone recipe.
