Easy origami DEER | How to make a paper Christmas deer

This was so much fun! I had to play parts of the video over several times; I'm a novice and the person in the video is an origami magician! I also had a good laugh at myself because I used Word to print out a 20x20 cm brown square and then cut it out. Unfortunately, I picked the wrong side to fold it and ended up with the white side on the outside :)

Sorry, but you are breaking several basic rules of Origami for me. I won't do extra cuts and I won't glue. I will just have two parts of a deer now. Tried to put the one into the other...

If you want to, instead of cutting them you can bend the antlers so they look like antlers! That's what I did haha

By the way, thats not really a rule breaking because the original description of origami says papercraft even with glue and cuts. Im just saying to you to know that :)

I found a way to open the back to allow it to fit without glue, by folding the inner paper of the legs halfway back and leaving a triangle open in an angle and folding the front of the leg back... the back piece can then just fit in a folded corner in the middle. I am still looking of a way to make the anlers look good without cutting though.
