Amy!!! These are gorgeous and so darn accurate as far as the colors!!! Hydrangeas are my favorite flowers (after buttercups/daffodils) and I too planted some last year. I thought a big first we had may have killed mine but they are now thriving with buds all over and I can't wait for them to bloom! My 51st birthday was this past Saturday and I truly would give anything to have one of these cards!!! Can I please buy one from you?! Please!!!

The liquid distress oxides, on your mat, can you re-wet? I don’t know how long you have before(the liquid) it dries. I love the hydrangea stamp and die. Way easier to die cut!

These are so beautiful! I love hydrangea as well but in Ottawa, we rarely see the blue/purple flowers. In Nova Scotia where I grew up, you blue/purple hydrangeas everywhere. The soil must be the perfect acidicity there. Jeannine

Try doing it with napkins. Dy cut white napkins, and then put the color on the napkins and the napkins will plump up. It’s really cool you should try it. It would be great with this die cut.

The year my hydrangeas did the best in Connecticut was the year we got early snow cover and kept a pretty deep cover all year. It’s the thaw/freeze cycle that messes with them. You can also insulate them, but have to be willing for them to look all ugly covered for winter.

If you want them to survive harsh cold you can cover those . They can handle a lot but like evrything in life, to much never works. But hell even me, like, miss I can even let a cactus die, can keep m alive in my backyard.
