i think im gonna get tese instead of the regular 1-pack figures because of the backdrop and also the figures look way cooler with the battle damage (atleast to me)

So far the only pack I grabbed was Leo vs Superfly only because it was an error/variant. In the set I grabbed Superflys eyes are not painted red. Only one I’ve seen so far?

I haven't bought any of the Mutant Mayhem merch so does seen tempting for me especially when I dislike the accesory that come with the turtle (the ones in the plastic brown/ orange frame). I would had prefered Mickey (the turtle I will buy) would of been paired with Bebop or Rocksteady instead. That being said, I am more likely to buy the glow in the dark version cos I loved that stuff! I haven't check which UK store or online site that are selling these exclusive stuff as the main retail store got the main merch so far.

I agree on these can be a pass. I too thought the backgrounds were plastic for some reason. They’d be cool to get if I didn’t already have the single carded versions.

Why does Donatello (yes I'm writing the name out and don't shorten it) need to have glasses nowadays? Everyone who knows Turtles, knows that he's the smart guy. You don't automatically need glasses when you are smart.

The backdrops were a great addition for collectors (and I would think for kids) ultimately I bought the battle packs as well as the individual turtles to keep the OG figures in pack and be able to open the battle packs up as well as have the rogues gallery. For the price also, was better than buying all the baddies separate. A side note, not a fan of the store exclusives. All of these stores can barely stock any figures let alone limited run exclusives. I get scalpers will always be a thing now, but if they want to get people in store have some merchandise available. Otherwise more money for Amazon.

I think these items are for people who are not collecting everything. This is a easy and justifiable way to get into the set without committing. If you are n adult or parent this is a easy way to get two figures at once and be done and enjoy yourself. If you are someone who has the base set these for sure are not necessary.

The Glow-in-the-Dark figures would only be good for the collectors. I’d say: I wish we’d get an April Ó Neil figure that ISNT exclusive to every turtle plus a Bebop that isn’t really that good.

Kids are creative, if it’s gonna be paper they would rather make it themselves. I used to make sewer lairs out of shoe boxes as a kid.
