My purchase just arrived and I plan to use the mousse in a roller set (sit under the dryer). Does this product include a heat protectant? I was thinking of layering it with a cream heat protectant.

Ashley Poston I wouldn't suggest mixing the mousse, I tried to mix a cream leave in with the mousse & it's didn't mix well, it all turned into white clumps. Thankfully I tested it on the back of my hand first so I suggest you do the same before you mix products on your hair.

it should. Unless your hair is bone straight you should be able to get a similar curl pattern using this technique

No. Most of the time you're going to end up picking out/fluffing the roots anyway. Tightness on the roots just helps stretch the roots.

nicole singleton I got the whole set & decided to use the connectors only for styles like this but I do have a video showing how I use the plates that attach to these purple parts..they're meant to be used together so you might have to buy it as is..hope that helps💙
