“Plastic stackable bin” at Lowe’s for $20 each. 2 of them will EXACTLY fit across the back of the bed by the tailgate. Just hook’em together and to the walls…put all your groceries/stuff securely in them. I love mine! You’re welcome!

I just used the trusty 2X6 across the back. It was on hand. I added a couple of D rings to it for tie down.

Home Depot sells plastic trays. Talk in the back , short in the front. About 4 yrs ago $15. Two fit almost perfectly in my 2020 F150. I use a cargo ratchet bar to hold them in place.

Just came across this post and you have a great truck. I will always have an eight foot bed on my truck. One way to beef up a net is to lace some 3 strand line through it to take up the stretch, do it horizontal and vertical if necessary. An extendable boat hook is also handy for retrieving items in the bed. I remember when trucks came standard with eight foot beds, boy time is flying. Good post.Thanks!👍⚡️

Those two vertical ridges behind the net are for any size lumber to slide down in as a stopper also

Yes, I was going to say that, any 2x would work. 2x10 should be sufficient. But the net is cool too and you don't have to have the wood in the bed.

I like long beds, but also crew cabs to give you inside safe storage. I was following a pickup and a 5-gallon water bottle slid right out from under the net.

I have a crew cab and I keep the tailgate up. Folks who ride around with the tailgate down are asking to lose something.

I was looking for a net or barrier for groceries and came upon this. Do you think it'd be able to hold a few cases of water bottles?

I tend to put stuff between it and the tailgate. Plenty of room, on my truck at least, for cases of water, soda, DEF, gas cans (sideways), etc. It stretches a bit so heavy stuff may slide. I wouldn't put cases of water in it as it's not wide enough. I keep moving blankets, a toolbag with tie downs, and funnels within the fold of the net itself. Anything larger, like I said, between it and the tailgate or behind it and in the bed.

Softopper. There's a video on my channel about it. Everyone asks that and it is waterproof. Very good. Corners where it meets the bed some water can get in but that's just positioning. It comes with a bottle of waterproofing for the seams but I've never needed it.
