Well, this particular slide only takes a couple of minutes to create, so it doesn't hurt the productivity much. Anything more time-consuming? Yeah, better buy a bunch of templates and use those instead or don't bother.

This comment puts me back 10 years ago in my final high-school class and first uni class when I was spending whole nights on PowerPoint animations for rushed presentations I had avoided fully reading articles on for weeks. Any students reading this, every day you think about it is a great day to start improving your habits. Every time you remember a habit you tried introducing 5 months ago is a great time to add one more repetition of that habit to keep getting better at overcoming failure and turn it into consistent progress. Good habits and decisions early in your life won't get you the validation from friends and dates you crave. They are too busy working on their own lives to validate you, and that's okay. But your future self will absolutely love you for all the effort you put in yourself now to become the person you want to be and take control of your life and abilities.

@@FufuZ it's all about the PowerPoint version and the system (not necessarily OS, the build itself). I suppose, I've seen only a few stations with the program up to date and hardware-wise able to support the animation. And you don't actually get to use your laptop all the time, so... yeah

As someone who was trained on Adobe/other art programs and only uses Mac OS at home this hurts my head. You had to add 2x the steps to get the same results in PP. Kudos for finding ways to make Microsoft programs notoriously uncreative catalog of software work for you the same way! 🤯🙇🏆
