HI Angela!! Pretty, pretty pockets!! The pages look marvelous!! I noticed at the end that you used 2 different colors of lace...I like that!! Such a pretty set of pockets. I love the combination of textures that you so expertly put together in your beautiful projects. I do try to copy your technique of combining papers with fabric with lace with little buttons and finish everything off with a mulberry flower, a butterfly and a perfect pearl! It's a fool proof method and usually turns out really nice. You are a master teacher. TYFS. Gorgeous!

What a cute project! Funny you mentioning organizing January. I’ve been diving in myself. Half of my den is devoted to crafting. The other half is a hot mess of household paperwork and my ever growing collection of genealogy documents and photos. The craft side is in great shape. But oh my, the other side😩. So my January goal is to wade through the desk, drawers and 2 file cabinets to sort, scan, file and shred my way into an organized space. I always love the results, but the “getting there” part not so much! We will get there though, my friend!

Dear Lorraine, I think we all have that zone in our house that nags us to organise. It used to be my garage. I have super organisation there now, but it took me 5 years to get the right mix. I am sure you can tackle this. Just a small task each day and in 30 days it will be a done deal! It is my new approach to tackling big projects, Haha, So pleased you liked this idea. Hugs xxoo

It looks beautiful but was disappointed to hear it is all kits. I just don’t buy kits. In fact I spend little money on crafting supplies and get most of mine second-hand. Pretty project though, I am sure you had fun making it.

Thank you so much for your message, Celia. Of course you are not obliged to buy or use a kit at all. I advocate that everyone uses what they have. This project can be made with any paper, fabric scraps etc that you already have. It is the idea that I share here and can be made in any theme at all. However, I do get inundated with messages asking me what I have used and to minimise that, I always say what I am using. It also helps those people who are following along with me using these kits.
