The best way I found to tame one is build up to the hive and completely encase it with a one by one with a window in the front, they can't get out and you can destroy the nest, no ghillie or repellent required

I found using a quetzal to attack the hives is easy as well. With the AOE the quetz has it takes out the worker drones while you attack, just make sure to stop attacking after the hive breaks.

Dont forget to wear ghillie and use bug spray when harvesting your honey, it would chip your hp down slowly if you dont

I usually scan the area with an argy, kill every predator there is and knock the bee hive by circling around the tree kicking the hive once at a time. Eventually the hive breaks and the queen bee is out. At this point I use one bug repellent on myself and one on the argy. The rest of it is shown in this video, e.g. run behind the bee and spam the E button.

Sorta, when you distroy the hive, it turns into a queen bee. You can then pick the queen bee back up and it will turn back into a hive you can place again.

she has no aggro only a detection method . she sense anything wild, tame or you she pops drones. this doesnt affect the tame. . just people that use to play ase are coping asa as exactly like ase in their mind . however its not an issue. a few other passive tames are drastically diff on punishments too aswell

every hive in asa will have a queen. however what happens is sometimes the queen falls thru the inside of the tree and the map. spino knock back swings or rpg knock back hard enough to kick her away from the tree. c4 and other methods she kinda lops down and can get in the tree. also c4 must be on the hive. alot of people just toss it and dont realize its falling under the hive then claim c4 doesnt work

Yes, unless you wear guille, or use bug repellent. I honestly don't have a problem and take little damage no matter what armor I'm wearing. They're mostly just annoying because they slow you down.
