I’m 53 years old n I never never made a paper butterfly 🦋 in my life nor admitted to. Until I saw pictures online n I tried to follow the directions with pictures. I was able to follow but my paper didn’t look like a butterfly. So I found you n omgosh, I finally made my first paper butterfly n I laughed 😂. Holy cow 🐮 unbelievable lol. Thank you 😊. Now I can’t wait to do more of the butterflies but this time with colorful papers not the lotto paper lol… yes I made a paper butterfly out of lotto paper. 😂. I tried to save my butterfly but I used it so much to create the butterfly, it finally tear apart after I finally made the butterfly. So I took a picture of my paper butterfly instead. I think I understand the "fold the upper layers only" part, but it's the step BEFORE this that makes me so confused. How is your triangle able to fold that way and mine isn't?? Which part am I missing on?? EDIT : I had to watch another video for that part. :/ It turned out okay-ish, I suppose. 💬 I quite like the butterfly's swallowtail design though.
