Yes...actually the 'red-tip' was necessary. It is the base color...it is what the strips had to hold on to. If Raquel hadn't done a colored tip, then the 'stripe' colors would have been far to transparent & it would have taken more than a single swipe to build the color which would have made the stripes gloppy. Beautiful as always!
