+Miss E good question... make a trial box... open it up and compare measurements of fold to size you need.. would that work?

There are just so many folds when I open up I wouldn't know what I was measuring! :) What I did just now was go from 8.2 x 8.2 in to 9 x 9 in, and it made a longer but not taller box, which is perfect for what I had in mind (I just needed a little more room to fit two objects in side by side). But what about if I wanted to make a longer and taller box? I'm sorry I am a better visual learner so I'm gonna ask for a video with using one's own measurements for the boxes? Pulllleeeessss, Red Ted Art? :)

hello 👋 i know you made this comment over half a year ago, but if you still want to know the box she made had a length of 13cm. with beginning paper length of 21cm multiply the length you want your box to have with 1.6 and thats the length your starting paper needs here the long version calculation: the final product (box length) = the paper length you have to start with 13cm = 21cm 1cm = 1,6 cm so now you multiply them with the length in centimeter that you want to have and there you have it. hope this helps you, if you still need it
