Easy Red 2 - Janky and Awesome WW2 Combat

With how the game's single dev is constantly updating the game and listening to user feedback, I can only wish the game gets the popularity it truly deserves. I've been playing it for almost a month and have been having a total blast.

@@tuffsheddweller can I ask as I have only Enlisted -Have you played Enlisted? If so how do you compare it to Easy Red2?

​@@MyLostToys I've played Enlisted for 2 years but I've decided to give up on the game because I've not been seeing any updates/fixes with the game. Graphics: -Enlisted is still superior; Surprisingly good for a free-to-play. -Easy Red 2 is pretty decent - the game's aesthetic is reminiscent of early to mid 2000s WWII shooters like Call of Duty 2, Battlefield 1942, and Brothers in Arms. Gameplay: -Enlisted is fine with gunplay and general movement. But with regards to window/wall vaulting, AI squad handling, and bugs like shooting explosives out of windows, it falls flat. The vehicular combat is similar to War Thunder, but it can be a little user unfriendly and inconsistent with armor penetration. -Easy Red 2's gun play is really good and the general movement is fine too. It's a little clunky at times, but you get used to it after playing a few matches. The game's single developer (yes, the game is made by ONE guy) is constantly updating the game's animations. The Enlisted devs have yet to update any of its buggy animations that players have been complaining about. I’ll say, Easy Red 2’s AI squad management is better than Enlisted and even has more types of commands. Very similar to Brothers in Arms.The vehicular combat is a little arcade-like, but nothing too realistic like War Thunder. Bonus points for Easy Red 2: -buildings are destructible! One of main things I wished Enlisted had when I use artillery barrages and tanks -it has single-player campaign modes. The AI is surprisingly good when you bring the setting to the highest difficulty -the maps are open-world. There are no annoying zones that you have to stay within the boundaries of. If you want to do an elaborate flanking maneuver, you can! -it has a map editor/sandbox mode where you create battles of your own -the game can be modded, thanks to its workshop. You can change the battles into Desert Storm era, Vietnam, etc. Overall, I’d put Easy Red 2 slightly above Enlisted, but not by much. The graphics and jankiness weigh it down for the most part. But with the way Easy Red 2’s been constantly updating/improving, it’ll definitely be way ahead of Enlisted in a year or two’s time.

@@MyLostToys I know @tuffsheddweller hit a lot of great points already, but I want to say that I played Enlisted. While it's fun, I absolutely hate the grind. I don't have a ton of time to game so the grinding aspect is just insane. I got Easy Red 2 a couple weeks ago and I am having a blast only playing singleplayer campaign so far. And I mean.. every single building is destructible. How cool is that? Anyway, I've been enjoying Easy Red 2 and I like it better than Enlisted. I have uninstalled Enlisted because I'm never going to play it again after coming across Easy Red 2.

Man these AI voices are getting really convincing but still feel soulless and I prefer a real person ALWAYS

@@thehrizn Oh I apologize, maybe because you were just reading a script in a monotonous way made it feel like AI, Either way you sound good just add a bit of variations when it matters so it feels natural.
