I personally recommend titania for ropa fight. At the time of commenting this, most people probably got her from tennocon, and if you didn't, her prime is like 50p. She also comes with her own weapons which work great for the fight, just mod them for radiation and crit and titania with razorwing blitz and duration & strength w/ roughly neutral efficiency. She lets you avoid tightrope walking and can make the run-up much faster as well. For testing, i did one run, but i figured with my focus and gear that new players probably wouldnt have, it wouldnt be fair to give a time for normal path, so as a test run, i completed the fight solo on steel path from a cold start in about 10 minutes. With full teams on the normal path though, you could probably do this much faster

This is awesome, the only thing I could ask for more is after all the how to do videos is just a bunch of gimmick videos like the sobek/saryn gimmick or using enemy radar gimmick to make enemies move from farther away to feel like there are more enemies coming at you

Titania/Zephyr is the play for this mission. Also, if you can, complete the new war. The sirocco is far superior to most amps that dont involve fortuna.

I just solo’d it twice in a row without an amp. It’s tedious and takes longer but it can be done. I used a basic Titania Prime and I’d say this is the REAL budget build. Titania build is Energy syphon 5, vitality 8, steel fiber 8, Rush 5, flawed continuity 3, flow 5, armored agility 5, intensify 5, and redirection 5. Dex Pixia Prime build is Hornet Strike 6, barrel diffusion 5, razor shot 3, heated charge 5, lethal torrent 4, convulsion 5, ice storm 3, and pistol gambit 4.

This is such a huge guide! I would also recommend going as zephyr. Their new player friendliness is huge and with their abilities there pretty well off on the survival front too

Great info, i got over 700 hours in wisp, she is an extremely good frame Also there is a fail state if you dont make it through a phase in time (in steel path)

Just to add to the quirks of the mission: you have to kill all of the adds (especially important on Steel Path) because otherwise the game's idle timer eventually kicks in and you fail the mission if you leave anything alive during the boss fight. A word of advice would be to not use Revenant's Thrall here since its still broken regarding enemy count for this mission

I learned this the hard way (and this pretty much led me to discover through wiki and reddit that there's hidden timers in the game), but if there's even just one enemy left alive during the fight and you don't kill a few every now and then, the game thinks you're not doing the mission and it'll start an invisible timer before failure. If you kill every enemy during that fight, you guarantee the game won't auto-fail the mission. In case some players cannot dish out consitent meaningful damage by this point against the danganropaloli, for whatever reason, it is a consideration to have in mind

Think maybe you should've done a refresher run ahead of time lol, but still a very good guide. And I like that you did it with suboptimal gear. This stuff is still drastically better than the junk I used when I first did it lol If you're watching this as a new player, the fight's a bit daunting at first but it's really quite easy. Most of the challenge is just knowing what to do. I went in completely clueless at MR7, with my base Wukong and a 0 forma, terribly built (mismatched element..) Fulmin. Took 3 tries (and a lot of time), but I did it. Then I made some quick adjustments (remodded my Fulmin), went back to farm Wisp, and had basically zero trouble because I knew the fight by then. I will vouch for how SLOOOOOOW it is to do this mission with a default Mote Amp. It takes about 15 or more recharges to take down the shielding, and you have to do that 3 times.

If this is supposed to go on the website maybe consider redoing/editing it? It feels abit like you are lost in the fight (admitably its a bit of an ordeal). I'm not sure how refined you are aiming the tutorials to be, but in terms of quality I feel the video coud have used a bit more preparation.

I did a run off stream but felt like showing the mess ups with me relearning parts of the fight only made it clear you don't have to play perfectly and how to deal with doing things backwards seemed like it would be useful for people looking up the fight when they're in it and don't know what to do

@@Brozime I don't know how you're envisioning the site, but I think you could clarify things by including a written bullet point wrap up along with the video that outlines the steps very basically as a reference for people that kinda know the fight but need a refresher or might just be missing something simple. That way the videos can be "warts and all" since there's a very clear list of what to do when things do go right. ie for Ropa: 1) deplete shields 2) go to platform and wait for him to charge it 3) jump at him, use interact key to mount and crash him into the pillar 4) kill synovia and press console 5) repeat 1-4 6) repeat 1-4 but just kill him instead of the synovia.

My initial experience was being blasted by the red ray. However, then I kept trying to get it's shields down with my operator, but they wouldn't go down. I eventually timed out of the mission because nothing was working. Thanks for this. I might try again.

A way to avoid the Ropalolyst grabbing you is to just stick to the back of it. So long as you aren't right below it it shouldn't do the grab.

You can free yourself from the grab by jumping out to the operator and shooting the hand that is holding you. This also stops the damage from ticking on your warframe

@@Matthias-pj6th Brozime does briefly mention the operator (twice), but it isn't clear if you don't know the interaction. He says that it is currently bugged so he can't hop out, but he doesn't explain why he would want to hop out (free himself, stop the damage, and/or attempt to push the laser button). Hopefully DE fixes whatever bug that is soon, and then newer players will have the ability to jump out, so being clear about what he was trying to do seems helpful

Update; it is currently still bugged, at least in solo. I get the banner popup for Transference, but don't jump to my Operator. Really annoying if you're not using a Tank frame, cuz it just auto takes a stock =(

If you are a new player you should be using frames with better aerial movement. Tons of people have suggested titania but wukong is also great. See how much he was messing up in the beginning simply because nezha doesnt have rapid and reliable air tech.

My Brothers and I went through this fight last week and it had been awhile since either of them had done it, it went about as well as your playthrough but with 3 WF and significantly more reviving :D

Wait, you can actually grab on to the beast? This game would just die without the wiki and videos like this. Nowhere did it ever explain how to do that. It would have never even crossed my mind. If this video didn't exist, I would have jsut tried this mission a hundred times in all sorts of random ways without ever being able to figure out what to do. Remind me: where do you get Adaptation from? Arbitrations? Doesn't that mean, if I have Adaptation I would have completed the starchart already, including the Ropalolyst? Why not make a video with gear that is available to players at this point in the play through?

A lot of movement abilities are restricted from going to the generators to keep from cheesing. For some reason Titania's razor wing and Wukong's cloud walker appear to work without restriction. So I would use those. For me this fight was too buggy in a group so I only did it solo.

i had a weird instance where frost's snowglobe became impenetrable to the ropagunga's lasers and just I had to wittle it down with the mote amp. took such a long time. and this was trying to clear it for the star chart.

Tapping crouch quickly gives you a boost of speed. He’s also playing Nezha who has a passive ability that makes him slide more.

With Nezha if you have firewalker activated then it bossts the sprint speed and boosts the tap speed

I went into op then got grabbed, and i was locked into op and not able to go back into my frame, and on a diffrent run, i got grabbed in my frame, then really quickly dropped (within around a second or less) and for some reason my character bugged out, so my camera was really far to my right, i could move around but my abilities were not activing, then eventually it did the animation of me falling on my face, then i was fixxed like what is this boss i swear

rechange name to cheapest rapololyst farm. rather then easy. cause it can with other build that cost bit more be easier and faster. like titania Prime with rubico prime, but is more cost intensiv and time consuming. to get it working well. but then again both can be used for other content as well.

Man I really hate how Warframe doesn't guide you at all with anything. Even as someone that has over 2100 hours and has been playing since 2015, here in 2022 after not playing much over the past two or so years, I have no idea what to do these days. His 2 is abolutly busted, makes you invisible, invincible, gives max health, gives you freemove and makes you go really fast :D As a beginner, I sometimes wonder why I should use any other frame at all when you have to actually mod them. Wukong only takes some health, armor and duration and is ready to go. With Fulmin and broken War/Xoris, that frame is absolutly nuts when compared to all other frames (with newbie mods)

Here is a fun guide for new players. Open relics. Sell prime parts for plat. Buy wisp from market. Enjoy. You wont hate warframe if u do this. It still amazes me that the game which is fun in every other aspect, these devs are utterly incompetent at making boss fights fun. All of them, and i say ALL OF THEM are just pile of utter crap boss fights. Everything else is super fun though.
