Almost every culture has their own version of flan, but this rose flan is my own version.
Rich and silky rose flan has a creamy rose flavored custard topped woth an amazing caramel . It is so pretty, it's sure to impress! 🥰This unique rose flan is beyond easy to make and perfect finish to any meal! 😋
Serving size - 6 -8
Pan size - 8 inch round cake pan
Ingredients to Caramelize sugar:
Sugar 1cup
Water 4 Tbsp
Ingredients for the custard:
Eggs 3
Condensed milk 400g
Evaporated milk 350g
Rose syrup 2tbsp ( for flavor & rose color)
Cooking Process :
Blend eggs, Condensed milk, Evaporated milk and rose syrup in a blender until smooth for 1 min.
Melt sugar in a saucepan with 4 tbsp of water . Pour the melted sugar syrup into desired baking dish ,turning the dish to evenly coat the bottom & sides.
Pour the egg mixture into the baking dish & cover with aluminum foil. Steam in a Steamer for 40 to 50 minutes depending on the size of the pan you choose.
Carefully invert on serving plate when completely cool. Garnish with raspberries & mint . Serve it chilled or room temperature.
